In the broad chasm of my sleep
Your smile and sighs echo deep
To wake me up in the void
Of missing you and toss and turn

Numb longings awake and arise
To swell and start their daily exercise
One more lonely night
To add to my heart’s plight

Rare glimpses of you my love
In dull dragging time
Your name etched on fires
By fantasies of my desires
Echoing in the craters of
My vacant heart

Lonely nights have
Taken root in my garden
Bearing fruits of lonesomeness
Do understand the futility of that

For you alone this red carpet is laid out
Come soar with me
On the magic carpet of my love
And fly to my paradise island…
